Just wanted to give an update on the Boyd -Haddad qualifying. This year Granite Pointe will be sending a team of 16 Men to Creston September 6 to defend both the Boyd and the Haddad trophies that GP won last year here in Nelson.
Our first qualifying event has finished with 24 folks participating. On the Boyd side we have our first three qualifiers, Our club pro Nick Kennedy, Rob Little and Greg Mufford. All three were tied with a two score total of 134.
On the Haddad side congrats to Dennis Langlois with a best two score net 128.5, and to Ron Van Zanden who was hot on his heels with a combined 130.6 total.
There are still two more chances to make the team. The first, is the top 2 finishers (who have not already qualified) in our Club Championships which are being held June 28/29. Get your entries in.
The second chance will be conducted on all Men’s days between June 19 and July 31(7 dates). The top 3 qualifiers for the Boyd side and top 4 from the Haddad (that have not previously qualified) will round out our team.
